Lieve allemaal,

Liefs,Jasiek

Dear everyone,

It’s time for another update ! This time, I have two things to share: my sixth vaccination round in Tübingen and the launch of my website.

My friend Jeroen joined me on my latest trip to Tübingen for the sixth round of my personalised peptide vaccine treatment. Everything went well, and this round is now complete. Jeroen, thank you so much for coming along, for your support, and for the great company. Having a friend by your side makes these trips so much more enjoyable!

I’m still doing well. Over the coming months, we’ll see how things progress and what the treatment brings. There is still uncertainty, but I’m grateful to be feeling well.

I’ve also launched my website: www.glioblastoma.care. It’s built around a motto that captures what I want to achieve: Heal myself, help others, change the system.

Throughout my own search for treatment, I’ve learned a great deal about glioblastoma, treatment options around the world, and additional therapies beyond standard care. I want to share that knowledge so that other patients and their families can find information more easily and have better-informed conversations with their doctors about the options available to them.

The website is my first step towards that goal. It brings together my experiences, information about treatments and research, and the decisions I face along the way.

But my ambition goes beyond sharing information. I find it unacceptable that access to treatment depends so heavily on where you live, how much money you have, and whether you can navigate the system yourself. No one facing such a serious illness should have to manage all of this alone.

That’s why I also want to work towards change in healthcare. The system needs to change! People with glioblastoma need better information, more support, and better access to treatment. I’ll be sharing more about these efforts on my website in the months ahead.

If you’d like to follow my experiences and the latest developments, you can subscribe to my blog here. Of course, I’ll continue posting updates about my health here on GoFundMe too.

Thank you for every donation, every kind message, and for continuing to be there for me.

Jasiek
