My name is Jasiek Tabeau. I am a Dutch-Polish husband, father of two daughters, technology professional and, since 2025, a glioblastoma patient.
Throughout my career, I have worked in complex technical environments where evidence, critical thinking and collaboration with experts are essential. After my diagnosis, I began applying those same skills to understanding glioblastoma and exploring treatment opportunities.

My Philosophy
My philosophy is simple: heal myself, help others, and change the system.
Heal myself means doing everything reasonably possible to understand my disease and find the treatments that offer me the best chance. I approach glioblastoma proactively, guided by scientific evidence, expert input and the belief that every patient is more than a statistic.
Help others means sharing what I have learned so that other patients and families do not have to navigate this overwhelming landscape alone. I want to help them ask better questions, understand their options and make informed decisions with their medical teams.
Change the system means advocating for fairer and faster access to promising treatments. Tumor Treating Fields, for example, are still not routinely available or reimbursed for glioblastoma patients in the Netherlands. Dutch patients who want this treatment may need to arrange and personally fund it abroad—at enormous cost. I want to help change that.
My journey began with a personal fight, but its purpose has become much bigger: creating better information, better access and more hope for everyone affected by glioblastoma.
